Prehistory
1853-1883
In 1853,
Ignacy Łukasiewicz, a European pioneer for the distillation of
petroleum, developed a petroleum lamp in Gorlice. Oil production gains
in importance in the region. In the year 1883, a mechanical workshop
for the production of tools and accessories for the production of
petroleum is founded here...1916-1939
By that time, complete drilling equipment with accessories
is produced. Exports are made to Romania, Russia, Austria, India,
Syria, Argentina, Peru.
1945-1968
After the war damage, the reconstruction of the production
occurs. The facilities are expanded, there are new production halls and
warehouses as well as social facilities, the machinery is modernised.
1968-1982
The production of machines and facilities for the mining of
hard coal rapidly develops. The serial production of hydraulic tunnel
supports begins. New markets are China, England, Hungary, Yugoslavia.
1982-1992
Tunnel
supports are the mainstay of sales for the machine factory "Glinik".
One million units are sold. Main customers are the Ukraine and
Russia.Afterwards...
1995
The tool and device construction of the machine factory
“Glinik SA” is outsourced as a result of restructuring and "Zakład
Narzędziowy "M+R" Sp. z o.o." in Gorlice is founded.
1997-1998
The company is completely privatised
and re-structured to an economic company.
1999-2000
The machinery is expanded,
numerically controlled tool machines and CNC processing centres are
acquired.
2002
Ferdinand Feinwerktechnik GmbH takes
over a share of 50% of the capital.
2004-2008
The machinery is expanded
and renewed again, a modern management system is developed with a focus
on the European market.
